If you are fed up with a dead end 9-to-5 job and don’t want your boss to harass you anymore, you are probably thinking, “What if I could just quit my job, work from home, and be my own boss?” I bet lots of people thought about that too. So, the essential question is: “Can I really make money online?”
The quick answer is: Yes! You can. But it’s not an easy task by all means, and it’s certainly not for everyone. It takes a lot of hard work, special knowledge, skills, thinking, and… patience. It’ll probably take 3-6 months before you can see some real concrete results. For average Joes, You can’t expect to jump on the “making money online” band wagon and get rich overnight. I’m not saying it’s entirely impossible, but it sure takes a genius to achieve that ambitious goal.
Now If you are still interested in making money online, I’ll show you some simple ways to do just that. Note that I said simple, not easy. There is a difference between these two words.
1. Make money with Google AdSense
The most simple and common way to make money is to build a website and monetize your content through Google AdSense. Basically this is how it works: You set up a website, fill it with good quality content, attract audiences and put some ads(advertisement) on your site which is handled automatically by AdSense, when visitors view your ads or click on it, you earn money.
2. Join an affiliate program
Another way that can help you make money online is through affiliate programs. There are some legitimate affiliate programs out there that can make you some good money, if you have targeted audiences who are willing to buy the affiliate products or services. One of best affiliate program I know of is from Bluehost. They can offer you $65-100 per sign-up, and their payment is quick and on time.
3. Sell your own products & services
You can also make good money by selling your own products and/or services online. Your products can be physical or virtual, like an eBook, or a video course. The key is that you need to build a website first. In order to be able to sell things through your site, your site need to be known by people. You can get more people to your site through many ways, eg. put on good content on your site so people will come to it through search engine, or promote your products/service on Twitter, Facebook, etc. You can also run ads on Google AdWords which can let you reach out to a wide range of audiences.
Making money online is certainly doable, but like I mentioned above, it takes hard work and patient before your effort comes to fruition. But, once you can reached the state where you can support yourself by simply making money online, you won’t be far from your financial freedom and you never need to work a regular job ever again.
